UConn Pharmacy Team Awarded 2008 ACCP Rufus A. Lyman Award

The 2008 AACP Rufus A. Lyman Award honors the best paper published in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education.  The paper entitled "Number and Impact of Published Scholarly Works by Pharmacy Practice Faculty Members at Accredited U.S. Colleges was authored by Craig I. Coleman, Pharm.D., Eang Lao, Pharm.D., Lauren S. Schlesselman, Pharm.D., and C. Michael White, Pharm.D.
 
 
Pharmacy Alumni Awards
The School of Pharmacy Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its Distinguished Alumni and Honorary Alumni awards.  Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented annually to alumni who have distinguished themselves in their particular pharmacy field.  An award is given yearly in each of the fields of academia, industry and pharmacy practice.  Honorary Alumni awards are presented annually to one or more non-alumni who have made an outstanding contribution to the school of profession.  Nomination forms are available under the "Alumni and Friends" heading above.  Deadline for submitting nominations is December 4, 2008.  The awards will be presented at the annual Alumni Awards and Reunion Banquet on April 18, 2009.
